The Technological Education curriculum continues to challenge students in a variety of ways by combining a student’s creativity with both collaborative and organizational skills. Through hands-on projects the students develop technological skills and in the process become self learners. This prepares our students with the ability to adapt to the ever changing technological advances of the 21st century. “Learning by doing” best describes the Technology courses here at NHS!
The Communications Technology courses are project-based and provide students with opportunities to acquire the knowledge and skills required to design, use, and manage electronic, live, recorded, and graphic communications systems, specifically in the areas of video, and movie production; radio and audio production; print and graphic communications; photography; digital imaging; broadcast journalism; and interactive news media and animation. These courses will help students understand the effects of communications technology on the environment and in our modern day society
