Awards of Excellence

Nepean HS will host the Awards of Excellence on Thursday, Oct 29, 2009 to recognize and celebrate the achievements of students who were in grades 9, 10, 11 during the 2008-09 academic year. Assemblies are organized based on the academic grade for this year...so a student who is in grade 11 will receive awards earned in grade 10 during the grade 11/12 assembly.

A list of potential award winners has been posted in the main foyer and parents of prospective award winners should have received a letter in the mail inviting you to join us during the assemblies to celebrate the successes of your son/daughter.

On October 29, we have an abbreviated schedule to allow for Parent-Teacher interviews during the evening of the same day. Please note the following:

• The assembly for current grades 11/12 students will begin at 9:05 am
• The assembly for current grade 10 students will begin at 11:00 am.

Parents and award winners should arrive early. Seats are reserved for parents in the balcony area. If you require alternate seating (e.g mobility issue), please contact the main office for assistance.

All other students will be directed to their regularly scheduled classes.
